Table & Chairs for #BabyMadison
Looks like she is already doing a little reading to get ready for the LSU ballgame today! I'm so proud of her.

This summer, we needed to move the CentriKid storage shed from Mississippi College to our new camp location at Millsaps College. The shed is 10x16 and 9 1/2 feet high at the top...so this was a big project. My cousins helped with the truck & trailer...and CentriKid staff lent a lot of muscle.
Here are a few pics before the move and during the process. Lots of sweat was involved! The drive over to Millsaps was uneventful, and unloading it was smooth too.
This storybook was the Mother's Day gift I gave to Emily.
We've wanted a way to tell Madison about her story ...
So I came across the idea of creating a storybook. I got this idea from Monica, a friend at work who has been down the adoption road and has a really cool storybook and charm bracelet with charms to commemorate all of the big steps in the journey. I collaborated with a couple of friends to write out Madison's story, and Mary Carlisle has sketched all the illustrations. I uploaded this and created a book using www.blurb.com to give to Emily.
I look forward to reading to Madison about what God has done in our lives up to this point, and I know that God has big plans for Madison in the future.
Please make it easier to change the batteries. Or better yet, make it so the toys don't need batteries. Maybe you can invent some sort of power cell that recharges when the baby cries....that would give a baby toy all the power it would ever need.
Again, I ask that you consider the following when determining what it takes to change batteries in your product:
1-I'm sleep deprived.
2-Taking out tiny screws is tough on anybody, but especially the sleep deprived.
3-it's awkward for me to reach into the back (or butt) of any animal to insert or remove batteries.
4-Did I mention that I haven't had a full night of sleep in a while, and yet you require me to find tools, open up an animal, and perform surgery on it?!!
5-As the child gets older and more aware of what's going on...no kid needs to walk into the kitchen and find daddy removing things from the backside of a silent, lifeless giraffe that normally sings and makes noises. Please...don't traumatize my kid by setting me up for failure like this.
Sincerely,
A Dad Who Is Trying To Do It Right
