Daddy had a bright idea...it didn't work out, though.
I found this footage on my computer and forgot I had taken it. I wanted to remember (and capture on film) Madison's PJ's glowing in the dark. Unfortunately it was too dark, and the camera couldn't pick up the glowing PJ's.
I found this footage from back in the summer ... there may be other folks out there learning to sit up....Grammy can help. Just follow these 6 easy steps.
On this date one year ago, Emily and I went to the Dr's Office with Hannah to find out if the baby was a boy or a girl. Kellie was there too with us... It was a special time as Hannah was very sweet with us and the nurse was telling us about all the different things on the ultrasound.
It was a neat moment when we found out that it was a girl! I have so many memories from that day .. because we had family who were at work and we couldn't get ahold of them right away, but we had a huge "village" of supporters who were on pins & needles to find out too!
Here is the video I made that day of our experience ... it still makes me tear up to hear Emily talking in the video about how "she's the most beautiful thing ever..."
Sweet memories...thanks for all who have been in the adoption journey & the now the parenting journey with us.
We walk almost every day of the year in our neighborhood. This is very typical for Madison...she sits up and chews on a toy. In this picture it's a giraffe's foot that she's trying to eat.
Ladybug enjoys walking too, but if we walk more than normal, Ladybug gets tired. She begins to drag behind and will even lay down in the grass to rest. I try to coax her to keep going, but she just gives up. She's learned that she can get a free ride whenever she's tired of walking.
You can imagine the funny looks we get from people who see us with a baby and puppy in the stroller together!
